New dataset – BirdLife Birdata

In co-operation with BirdLife Australia, WA records from their online national bird monitoring platform, Birdata, are now available in Dandjoo.

To search for BirdLife species occurrence records:

  1. Use ‘BirdLife Australia’ as a search term in the ‘Data provider’ search field. This will display all the data and we would recommend that it is used in conjunction with other search criteria such as a polygon/area or time frame search

  1. Use ‘Birdata’ in the ‘Dataset’ search field or enter the specific BirdLife Program name (such as ‘CockyWatch’, ‘Bittern’, etc). As the more Birdata programs are added to Dandjoo, we recommend referring to Dandjoo’s datasets webpage and referencing  ‘BirdLife Australia’ in the Data provider column for an up-to-date listing.
